I have taught English, creative writing, theater, and film/media studies at universities and secondary schools in the US and Poland since 2009 (Johns Hopkins University, the English Institute of the University of Łódź, and Harvard-Westlake School).

I hold a BA and MFA in creative writing and literature (Stanford ’04, JHU Writing Seminars ’11) and a PhD in creative writing from Bath Spa University (’19).

I also teach a workshop on performance techniques for Greek choruses, which can be modified to help students of any age approach poetry as a chorus. I’ve taught this workshop for students ages 8-22, adults, actors, and theater ensembles.
